Commission for private residence
David designed and produced these decorative fused glass panels with clear glass over panels,
supporting bonded individual polished fin hemispheres, to this existing column. The panels are supported on three
sides of the column which due to the nature of the fire rated cladding meant that no fixing could be made into the
existing cladding. A special stainless steel system was therefore designed and manufactured to hold the glass without the
need to drill into the column itself.
Commission for
private residence A set of 4 decorative glass panels to
an internal opening between two rooms. Fused, painted and sand engraved glass.
Commission for
duathelte A private commission for a portrait taken from a studio session
of the subject and his bike. Fused, painted and powdered glass in three layers.
Commission
for private residence
Private clients commisioned
the piece pictured below for their residence. This is a development of the piece David exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer
Exhibition, with two central hemispheres constructed as glass fins sitting over a fused glass panel. The second
smaller hemisphere sits inside the larger one. The whole panel has been designed to have no visible hanger so that
it appears to 'float' on the wall.
Commission for private residence
David created this three dimensional wall panel consisting of a fused glass back panel with over panel of glass strips
and polished hemisphere centre. Size approximately 650 x 650 mm
